Dnia 9 grudnia uczniowie z klasy 8a i 8b uczestniczyli w kilkuetapowym wojewódzkim konkursie dla uczniów szkół podstawowych ” Zostań architektem swojej kariery”. Naszą szkołę reprezentował zespół: Joanna Berak, Marcin Dudek i Nadia Sikora.
Konkursowe zmagania rozpoczął test wiedzy o sztuce, nad którym pracowały trzyosobowe drużyny. Zadania były różnorodne i niełatwe. Po ukończeniu tej części Konkursu, drużyny przeniosły się na teren warsztatów szkolnych. Równolegle rozgrywano dwie konkurencje – murowanie według rysunku i instrukcji oraz wykonywanie ozdób (tekturowy renifer i choinka). Na zakończenie, uczniowie zostali zapoznani ze specyfiką szkoły, omówiono kierunki kształcenia w Technikum nr 2, Branżowej Szkole I stopnia nr 2 oraz nr 3.
